The performance reflects the continuous effort required to preserve essential human values.
In 2024, while spending time on the shores of Ebeltoft (Denmark), I was struck by the seaweed washed ashore by the waves. The water shaped these into small mounds, forming “natural sculptures.” This fragile material became the basis of my performance: I used seaweed to create words representing values I consider deeply important. Yet, the waves repeatedly erased them, and each time, I rebuilt the words anew.
This endless process of reconstruction reminded me that values are not static; they are not given to us once and for all. Instead, they demand daily care, renewal, and resilience in the face of both internal and external challenges.
The physical effort involved in creating these words reinforced the message: maintaining one’s principles requires persistent action, labor, and resolve.
