Installation (seaweed, stones)

In the project “Lifes,” seaweed, woven into long threads, supports stones, creating an image of both resilience and fragility. These organic elements embody the tension between endurance and the inevitability of “the end.”

During the exhibition, some stones fell, symbolizing the unpredictability and transience of existence. These fallen stones did not disrupt the installation; rather, they emphasized the core idea of the work — a reminder that we cannot foresee the length of our “path.” Each stone that detached became, at that moment, a monument to life itself.

Some knots required reworking several previous ones, which resonates with the repetitive attempts and challenges we overcome on the way to our goals.

To participate in the creation of the project I invited the local community in Ebeltoft (DK).
